HOW TO PLUG A PUNCTURE

1. Find the puncture and remove the nail, screw or stone.
2. Push the reamer into the hole a few times to clean and shape it.
3. Thread a plug through the eye of the needle so it sits centered.
4. Push the needle and plug into the hole until about 1/3 of the plug is left outside.
5. Pull the needle straight out - the plug stays in the tire.
6. Trim the excess plug, then inflate to your normal pressure and check for leaks.

Note: tire plugs are for tread punctures on tubeless tires only. Sidewall damage or large cuts need a professional repair or tire replacement. A plug is an emergency repair - have the tire inspected as soon as you can.
